Welcome back to Day 5. It’s our last day together for cleaning up our cleaning supplies!

These 5 days I have taken the time to share with you my journey from those chemical laden store bought products to all natural homemade cleaners. I am just so pleased with my discoveries…. that I have to share!

I found her entire series very beneficial in my transition to natural products. There you will find a wealth of information. She takes all the guess work out and provides effective homemade cleaner recipes. She even provides some of the science behind why natural ingredients work. She has really done all of the homework for us.

I have been sharing Amy’s recipes that I have tested and tried and use regularly. These natural cleaners make cleaning so much more enjoyable for me….and no more headaches or sore throats from the chemicals in store bought stuff!

Today I will share three more of my favorite natural recipes that I absolutely love.

Scouring Powder

Scouring powder is so easy to make. It has all dry ingredients. Simply whisk together and store. It is ablsolutley amazing for cleaning the cooked on mess at bottom of pots. Also great for removing the baked on goo at the bottom of glass ovenware.

Boy’s Bathroom Cleaner

Yes! Boys do need a cleaner just for them in this room of the house. If you are mom to boys, you know what I am talking about. Hopefully, you will find as I did that aim does get better with age. Until then…you will want to try this cleaner.

Furniture Posilsh

This furniture polish smells amazing, works great, and is so simple to throw together! I will never go back to the store bought spray.

I hope through this week that I have conveyed the simplicity and effectiveness of eliminating chemicals from your cleaning supplies. I was so wrong to think the transition to natural cleaning products would be difficult. It wasn’t hard at all.
